Seldom seen, often misunderstood; salamanders are fascinating and play a critical role in the health of forest ecosystems. Take a hike with a nature guide on a search for these elusive animals and other amphibians – frogs and toads. Please wear close-toed shoes since we will be off the trails. A hat, sunscreen and mosquito repellent are recommended. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. Meet by the Rockwood Nature Centre.
Preregistration is not required.
This event is free for Grand River Parks Members and those who have paid park admission fees.
