Become a citizen scientist and join our nature guide as we chase, catch and identify insects and other spineless wonders in all of their life stages. We will record our findings and submit them to Citizen Science Programs, learning a thing or two in the process. Hunting for bugs provides a look at biodiversity at its best, these six-legged creatures come in a variety of shapes, forms and colours. Please wear a hat, sunscreen and close-toed shoes. Suitable for adults and school aged children; children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Hole in the Rock Trailhead.
Preregistration is not required. This event is free for Grand River Parks Members and those who have paid park admission fees.
This opportunity is open to volunteers including high school students (bring your own paperwork to log your community involvement).
