This event is free for Grand River Parks Members and those who have paid the park admission fee. Preregistration is not required.
Seldom seen, often misunderstood, salamanders are amphibians which play a critical role in the health of forest ecosystems. Accompany our nature guide on a search for these elusive animals and others living under logs and rocks. Please wear close-toed shoes since we will be off trails. A hat, sunscreen and mosquito repellent are recommended. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. Program Length: 90 minutes. Meet at Shade's Mills Nature Centre.
