As autumn approaches, and with the nesting season done, birds of prey begin their annual migration South. Well adapted to soaring on rising air, hawks, eagles and vultures seemingly float in the daytime sky in their own distinctive pattern, while simultaneously searching for tiny rodents or carrion hidden below on the ground. We will provide the binoculars and with the help of our Nature Guides, we will search the horizon for birds of prey. Please wear close-toed shoes, we will be off the trails. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Shade's Mills Nature Centre. Program Length: 90 minutes.
