Get your dose of “Vitamin N” (nature of course!) and explore Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area with your whole family. Grandparents, parents, teens and children alike are invited to join our amazing nature guides and spend some time in the forest. This is a great chance to get some exercise, enjoy the crisp winter air and discover how to connect with nature. Our nature guide will help you look for signs and tracks of animals, sounds of birds and other natural wonders. Winter is not a reason to stay inside so join us on the walk; we will be hitting the trails regardless of the weather. The forest walk is approximately 2.5 KM and will take about 60 minutes. At the end of the trail, you can spend some time around the campfire to toast marshmallows and warm up with hot chocolate. The trail is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Walkers should be able to maintain a comfortable pace.
Meet at the Warm Up Room.
Please remember to dress for the weather in breathable layers and boots that are good for walking on trails in the snow.
