Did you know that the bedrock forming the Elora Gorge is 450 million years old, and that this area was once covered by a warm shallow sea? Join our Nature Guide to learn about the Gorge and hunt for fossils in the limestone formations. You may find corals, clams, snails and crinoids, an animal related to the starfish. Make your own fossil to take home. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the Hole in the Rock Trailhead.
